1912 Community Center (Moscow, Idaho)

On March 29th the League of Women Voters of Moscow presented "Palouse Pathways - Opening Doors to College and Career Opportunities" in the Fiske Room of the 1912 Community Center.

Peggy Jenkins discussed some of the barriers that keep students from college and post-secondary programs, and ways in which members of the community can help provide paths to opportunity.

Jenkins is the founding director of Palouse Pathways. She has a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a law degree from Boston University. A former litigator, she now works as an independent legal researcher. Jenkins also works with other Palouse Pathways volunteers to provide information and resources free of charge to students and families from Moscow, Pullman, Genesee, Potlatch, Plummer and beyond.
