1912 Community Center (Moscow, Idaho)

Guest Speaker: Kathy Aiken

Katherine G. Aiken presented “Voting Rights” at the Moscow League of Women Voters forum on October 25th in the Fiske Room of the 1912 Center.   The discussion covered the history of our voting rights and how they are applied today..

        

Aiken is professor of history at the University of Idaho where she has been a faculty member for more than 30 years. She is the author of four books and numerous articles dealing with the history of women, environmental history, social and cultural history, and the history of Idaho. She is past chair of the Idaho Humanities Council.
