1912 Community Center
Moscow, Idaho

Liz Bander presented “The League Way and the Way Forward” at the League of Women Voters of Moscow forum on Wednesday (Feb. 12,) at the Moscow 1912 Community Center.

Her talk focused on the League at 100 and how it is addressing diversity for the future. Bander believes that in order for democracy to work: we have to work together and focus on issues rather than parties; that democracy is an experiment

worth defending; and that women are poised to lead the way to a more representative, more equitable, and more just system.

Bander of Marysville, Washington, is the  LWV United States' liaison for the Northwest state and local Leagues. She works as a senior project manager at Microsoft.
