1912 Community Center (Moscow, Idaho)

Kara Besst presented “Gritman Medical Center: Partnering to Serve You” at the League of Women Voters of Moscow (LWV-Moscow) on April 3rd in the Arts Workshop of Moscow’s 1912 Community Center.

The discussion focused on general Gritman information service lines and updates; an overview of the current state and national health care climate; and the initiatives and partnerships at the hospital designed for patients to receive care locally.  

Besst is the president and CEO of Gritman Medical Center where she has worked for 25 years. Originally from Idaho Falls, she graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in accounting. Prior to graduating, she started at Gritman as an Intern and was hired as an accountant in after earning her degree. She became Gritman’s chief financial officer in November 2000 and assumed her current role in February 2011.  She lives in Moscow with her family.
